One of the things about being a voiceover / audio geek is knowing what is the best kit and there’s so much out there it can be daunting. I’m currently loving my tascam handheld recorder as I’m out and about interviewing people for my podcast. It’s pretty idiot proof as far as recording and is great quality. I was using an H4 Zoom which died and I took the advice of the somewhat masterful Alex Blumberg as i’m a big fan of his Creative Live classes. Working for yourself is tough, when there’s so much to do and so much still to learn, so make sure you always find fun ways of doing it!
