With Christmas only 5 days away, I’m desperately trying to end the year feeling like I’m ready for the new year. With that in mind, paying a little attention to this blog has been on my to do list, since I changed my website in June! Do you feel the year has passed quickly? I can’t actually believe it’s December, but most of the last part of the year has been consumed with moving my family to Manchester, which is where the rest of my family are. We moved here in September and I started back on the radio after leaving the breakfast show I was on for 5 years in January 2015. I’m hosting a Sunday afternoon show at Heart North West now, as well as doing some cover work including this Christmas Eve and Christmas Day I’m doing a solo breakfast show.
In the two decades I’ve been on the radio I’ve never worked at Xmas as I’ve always been on the road to see my family. Seeing as this is the first year I’m waking up in the place i’m spending Christmas Day, when asked if I’d cover the show I said ‘Yep why not’.. So if you’re a radio fan and will have the wireless on you could tune in and say Hi!
I’ve had a fun year with my voiceover work, working with clients in India and Australia, with e-learning projects, on hold work and lots of corporate videos. I’ve made some great new clients and am looking forward to the new year. My booth has been relocated to Manchester, after a brief spell in storage which saw me recording in a cupboard! 
And I’m currently sat on the floor surrounded by Duplo and Winnie The Pooh as I try to keep my little boy entertained whilst finishing this blog. Wishing you a brilliant 2017. I hope it starts off with a bounce and continues strong.
