I’m back on the wireless!

Yep, you can hear me on the all new Hits Radio on a Saturday night from 10pm-1am playing some acoustic chilled out hits and chatting about the week. I love the view from the studio which overlooks a moonlit canal in Manchester’s Castle Quay. Anyone who has worked in radio knows how exciting a window is, and one with a view is a real treat.

It’s been about a year..

since I was presenting last, I was previously on Heart North West hosting a Sunday afternoon show so it’s great to be back on air. Radio is always changing and has to keep up with all the many ways we consume. I’m determined that my toddler is exposed to radio for as long as possible, I would be so sad if he grew up with no point reference to what I had a career in.  According to Rajar in August 2018 a whopping 89% of the UK population still listen to the radio which is a relief. This week sees the Drive to Digital conference happening hosted by Hits Radio’s Gethin Jones reviewing digital radio progress and assessing the way forward for digital radio across multiple platforms in home, in cars and on the move. I’m hoping to be there, so will report back.
